Proposed solar farm at Edge Lane, Burnhope, Lanchester, Durham, DH7 0RY
The proposal involves Lightsource bp funding the development of a solar installation that will have an output power capacity of 49.9MWac (Megawatts).
We undertook a wide range of environmental assessments to select the site area, including landscape and visual, heritage and archaeology, ecology and more. We took the project proposal to the local community to gather feedback, and we updated our plans accordingly.
