About the Oxbow solar project<\/h2>\n

Lightsource bp\u2019s Oxbow solar project is in commercial operations in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. Oxbow was developed, financed and constructed by Lightsource bp.\u202fIn mid-2024, JERA\u202fNex\u202fassumed\u202fownership of the facility.\u202fLightsource bp continues to provide asset management and O&M services for the project.<\/p>\n

Through corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs), the\u202fOxbow Solar project helps power McDonald\u2019s and eBay\u2019s\u202fUS operations with solar energy.<\/p>\n

This project, previously called \u201cVentress Solar Farm,\u201d was renamed in August 2022. The project site is named for a nearby oxbow lake known as \u201cFalse River\u201d in Ventress, Louisiana.<\/p>\n\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
