Discover our new Madrid office: our hub to anchor European solar push

On June 20, we celebrated the inauguration of our new headquarters in Madrid, located in the heart of the Salamanca neighbourhood.

The opening ceremony began with the traditional ribbon cutting by Nick Boyle, CEO and Founder of Lightsource bp, accompanied by Kareen Boutonnat, CEO EMEA and APAC of Lightsource bp; and Juan Luis Cantón, Country Head of Lightsource bp in Spain, who all agreed that the new Madrid office is a sign of the exponential growth that the company has experienced in just four years, placing a new key piece to continue growing in the Spanish market.

We entered the Spanish market in 2019 with a team of less than 10 people. Since then we have grown to more than 150 team members in Spain alone — and more than 1,100 globally.

The new modern workspace was designed from the ground up to boost team communication — locally and globally. We have invested in a state-of-the-art, modern workspace that uses both indoor and outdoor common spaces that allow teams to have meetings and collaborate in inspiring spaces.
