As well as getting to meet Tina, visitors to the Lightsource marquee (stand 139) will be able to take advantage of some welcome respite from the nail biting eventing competition.
Its “relax and recharge” area will feature comfy seating and free mobile phone charging points for those looking for put their feet up after a tiring cross country course walk or a spot of retail therapy.
Lightsource’s team of experts will also be on hand to chat about how solar power can greatly benefit rural businesses, reducing daytime electricity costs by at least 60% and generating attractive income from land rental.
Tina, who also won an individual and team bronze at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, added: “I’m looking forward to seeing Lightsource’s Relax & Recharge stand in action and will be visiting it to recharge my own batteries in between competing.”
The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials (May 6-10) is a social and sporting highlight of the equestrian calendar. Over 200,000 visitors are anticipated, making it the largest paid-entry sport event in the United Kingdom, and the second largest in the world.
