UK – Strengthening partnerships to drive solar forwards

This month, we’ve announced two vital partnerships to our UK operations. Lightsource bp has resumed membership of the National Farmers Union (NFU) and the Country Land and Business Association (CLA). We’ve worked closely with both entities in the past, driving solar forward during the subsidy years, and we’re thrilled to be renewing these relationships as we continue to enable a low-carbon transition for communities across the UK.

Partnering with the NFU and the CLA demonstrates clearly Lightsource bp’s belief in solar’s ability to make a difference to the agricultural economy. We’re looking forward to showcasing best practice in multi-land use and agrivoltaics, and working with both entities to demonstrate all the ways in which solar can continue to be a positive proposition for rural communities across the country.
