The 173MW Bellflower solar farm, located about 40 miles east of Indianapolis in Indiana\u2019s Rush and Henry Counties, entered full commercial operations<\/span> in early 2023.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lightsource bp developed and financed\u202fthe solar farm with\u202f$169 million\u202fof private capital<\/span>,<\/span>\u202fand will continue to operate Bellflower Solar.\u202f<\/span>Under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA)<\/span><\/b><\/a>, Verizon Communications will benefit from the renewable energy of the project as part of the company\u2019s goal of reaching carbon neutrality in its operations (scope 1 and 2) by 2035.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
