Recruitment agency policy

Lightsource bp has a commitment to sourcing candidates directly and, as such, we do not accept speculative CVs from agencies. We do, however, work with a defined list of preferred suppliers (PSL) who may be invited to support us in sourcing candidates for particular roles.

Further to our PSL, we only pay agency fees where we have a signed agreement in place with an agency and such agency has been instructed in writing by a member of Lightsource bp’s Talent Acquisition team to proceed on a particular search or proposal.

We do not pay agency fees where speculative and unsolicited CVs are submitted to Lightsource bp.

Agency fees are subject to (i) a supplier being on the PSL with agreed agency terms in full force and effect; and (ii) CVs being correctly submitted through the Lightsource bp recruitment portal and by no other means. Where this is not observed, Lightsource bp reserves the right to contact candidates directly and initiate discussions without payment of any agency fee.

Submission of any unsolicited CVs and proposals to Lightsource bp will be deemed acceptance of our agency policy and the waiver of any fees in respect of such applications and proposals.
